CHRIS MAHONEY FOUND A LIVER TRANSPLANT
HELP SUPPORT CHRIS AND HIS FAMILY
Chris was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) in 2003. PSC is a rare autoimmune related liver disease where the body’s defenses attack and destroy its own liver. In 2007, Chris was diagnosed with Gallbladder Cancer—a cancer with a 10% survival rate. Beating the odds, Chris reached his 5-year anniversary of cancer remission in 2012 only to be faced with this next life challenge—the search for a live donor or beat the odds once again and get a liver off the UNOS transplant list. Now, Chris must endure outpatient surgeries about once every 6 weeks in order to maintain minimal liver function. A liver transplant is Chris’ only option. His doctors gave him only 12-18 months to live back in March 2012.
Please help Chris and his family. Give what you can.
His chronic illnesses disqualify him from both life and disability insurance. They face a mountain of debt.
